About the P3 Alpha rating model

Scorecard (1-4)

Pigment (1st):        3.75
Pattern (11th):        2.97
Potential (11th):     3.32

Avg Score (3rd):  3.35
The banana (or coral glow) is considered by most to be the most colorful and prettiest ball python morph in existence. It has been around for over 10 years now but has only recently been made available to more buyers in the hobby due to a rapid drop in price. There is also the male maker/female maker genetic trait which has surrounded the gene with controversy. Despite this, it is a must have in anyone's collection!

Pigment (1st) :  3.75
The banana/cg is the most outrageously bright colored morph thus far, which is why it came in first for pigment! Mixtures of purple, bright yellows, oranges, and white markings make for a spectacular blend that makes owners smile every time they open their tubs.

Pattern (11th):  2.97
The pattern is somewhat that of a normal ball python with variations from busy patterns to reduced patterns, which is why it came in 11th place.

Potential (11th):  3.32
It is a common opinion to say that "all banana/cg combos look the same," which is probably a main factor of why it came in 11th place. However, as you can see by the pictures, the combos such as the black pastel, leopard, pied, etc are striking. With all the new genes entering the market, it is interesting to see how those will combo with the banana/cg!

When did you get your first banana and what are your projects?
